I've known Ashley Pretti and her family since I was just a wee little one ;) We all went to Sacred Heart together, I played basketball for her Daddy back in the day, and there were a many volleyball tournaments spent together as well. She is truly an amazing woman and Hunter Christmas is one lucky man... but of course, Ashley is just as blessed to have found someone she can spend the rest of her life with and know that she will always be taken care of. That's what it's all about right? Knowing you can always depend on someone to be there for you... Best of luck to you both, Ashley & Hunter!
The day started out with Ashley and her sister, Jennie, the beautiful Matron of Honor, getting ready upstairs at Cedar Hill Farm with a few close friends. There may or may not have been some questionable taste in music... ;) but the Bride seemed very relaxed and ready to walk down the aisle to her Groom.
It was the shortest and one of the sweetest ceremonies I've ever witnessed. Only a handful of family and close friends were in attendance. The weather couldn't have been more perfect. And definitely by far the best first kiss I've witnessed. I didn't think they were going to stop!
After the ceremony everyone moved back over to the main area of the venue for of course, a party! More friends joined in and it was a great time! Blue Mother Tupelo was the entertainment for the evening and they were lots of fun! I will be adding them to my playlist! After lots of dancing, eating, drinking and toasting the newlyweds said their goodbye's and drove off into the night.
And after y'all left....this happened...I don't even remember what all he sang but he changed the words to "Aint No Sunshine" and it was hilarious!
All in all it was a fabulous day and I thank you both for choosing me to capture your story! And I must say I'm kind of jealous, Ashley, I wish my last name was Christmas!! ;))
